Will I get too many alerts?
No. FirstDistro sends alerts only for significant changes, not every minor fluctuation. You control thresholds and can snooze individual accounts. Most teams get 3-5 actionable alerts per day.
Can I send alerts to private channels?
Yes. FirstDistro can post to any channel you authorize—public or private. Invite the FirstDistro app to your private channel first.
Can different teams get different alerts?
Yes. Route critical-only alerts to #enterprise-cs, all alerts to #cs-team, and weekly digests to #leadership. Full control over what goes where.
What Slack permissions does FirstDistro need?
FirstDistro needs permission to post messages to channels you select. We don't read your messages, access DMs, or see anything outside the channels you authorize.

FirstDistro only posts to channels you authorize. We never read messages, access other channels, or store Slack data. OAuth tokens are encrypted and scoped to minimal permissions.
